Product Definition Stainless steel tray type cable tray, made of 201/304/316L stainless steel whole plate CNC bending forming, with uniformly punched strip-shaped heat dissipation holes on the bottom plate and vertically raised blocking edges on both sides, belongs to a semi transparent tray structure, matched with stainless steel cover plates of the same material and a complete set of stainless steel connectors. Its performance is between stainless steel groove type and stainless steel ladder type, taking into account heat dissipation, cable full bottom support, and anti-corrosion shielding. It is a universal cable tray for mixed laying of strong and weak electricity in corrosive environments; Relying on stainless steel’s own chromium nickel passivation film for long-term rust prevention, there is no risk of coating detachment, and it is suitable for high corrosion scenarios such as coastal areas, chemical industries, food and medicine. Three mainstream stainless steel materials and their applicable environments. 201 stainless steel Chromium manganese alloy, with the lowest cost; Only used for non corrosive weak current branch lines in dry rooms, prone to rust spots in humid and salt spray environments, not recommended for industrial backbones. 304 stainless steel (06Cr19Ni10) 18 chromium 8 nickel austenitic stainless steel, forming a dense anti rust passivation film; Resistant to rain and water, weak acidity and alkalinity, mild salt spray, with the highest cost-effectiveness. It is a mainstream product commonly used in food factories, ordinary humid factories, and inland chemical industries. 316/316L stainless steel (022Cr17Ni12Mo2) Adding molybdenum element significantly improves resistance to chloride ion corrosion; 316L low-carbon welding without intergranular corrosion is mandatory for coastal docks, offshore platforms, electroplating, sewage treatment, and high salt spray heavy corrosion environments. Ⅱ Complete production process flow 1. Integrated molding of tray Stainless steel coil cutting → CNC bending to form side and bottom plates, and stamping standard heat dissipation waist holes on the bottom plate (opening rate of 30%~40%, hole diameter of 8 × 30mm, hole spacing of 50mm); The bottom of the heavy-duty model is reinforced with longitudinal reinforcement ribs to enhance its bending capacity; Prefabricated elongated connections and lifting holes for side panels; Synchronize the processing of irregular parts such as bends, tees, and reducers, and polish and deburr the welds after full welding. Sheet thickness specification: Width ≤ 150mm: 1.0mm 150~300mm:1.2mm ≥ 300mm heavy load/large span: 1.5/2.0/2.5mm The standard single section length is 2000mm, and a 6m large-span stainless steel tray bridge can be customized. 2. Acid pickling, passivation, and anti-corrosion treatment (core process) Degreasing and cleaning after forming and welding → acid pickling, passivation, neutralization → rinsing with clean water and drying; The surface is divided into two types: HL brushed matte and BA mirror polished, generating a permanent dense passivation film that isolates water vapor, chloride ions, acid and alkali media, and there is no problem of peeling off from spray coating or hot-dip galvanizing. 3. The entire system is matched with the same material The connecting pieces, bolts, support arms, columns, and partition plates are all made of stainless steel of the same grade as the tank body, to prevent electrochemical corrosion caused by contact between carbon steel dissimilar metals. Ⅲ. Six core advantages 1. Balanced heat dissipation and protection, with the strongest universality The punching of the bottom plate forms air convection, which is much better than the fully enclosed stainless steel trough bridge, and reduces cable temperature rise by 8-12 ℃; The entire bottom plate fully supports all cables, and fine wires and optical fibers will not fall from the gaps and get stuck. Its protective performance is better than that of hollow stainless steel ladder bridge, and it is the preferred choice for mixed strong and weak current wiring. 2. Native long-lasting anti-corrosion, with a service life far exceeding that of carbon steel bridge frames Relying on its own chromium nickel passivation film for self rust prevention, there is no hidden danger of zinc layer or spray coating peeling off; 304 has a conventional environmental lifespan of 20-30 years, while 316L can last for over 30 years in coastal chemical environments; Resistant to seawater salt spray, acid and alkali, sewage, and food cleaning water vapor, with almost zero maintenance in the later stage, and no need for regular painting and repair. 3. Excellent load-bearing performance, suitable for mixed laying of thick and thin cables The integrated complete bottom plate evenly disperses the load and is equipped with bottom reinforcement bars, with a uniformly distributed load of over 400kg/m. It can simultaneously carry thick high-voltage power cables and thin control signal lines, suitable for large capacity multi circuit comprehensive wiring. 4. The body is non combustible and resistant to high temperatures, with outstanding fire safety performance Stainless steel has a melting point of about 1400 ℃ and is non flammable. It does not melt, drip, or release toxic smoke in a fire environment; Compared to spray painted fire-resistant carbon steel cable trays, there is no problem of coating peeling or failure at high temperatures, and it is suitable for fire protection conditions in chemical and energy storage power plants. 5. Smooth and clean surface, suitable for sterile clean workshops The brushed/polished surface has no rust residue, and can be directly washed and wiped in sterile workshops for food and medicine. It will not produce zinc powder or rust residue to pollute the production line, meeting hygiene acceptance standards. 6. Convenient wiring maintenance and flexible construction Semi open structure, no need to completely remove the cover plate to view, add or remove cables; Reserved binding holes on the bottom plate and neatly fixed cables; Installing metal partition plates can achieve the installation of strong and weak electrical zones, without the need to separate two sets of cable trays. Ⅳ. Applicable scenarios 1. Coastal ports, offshore wind power, seawater desalination plants, and coastal factory areas (316L is mandatory for high chloride ion salt spray environments); 2. Acid alkali corrosion workshops in chemical, refining, electroplating, pharmaceutical, and wastewater treatment plants, while laying power cables and instrument signal lines; 3. Aseptic and clean production workshops for food and beverage, brewing, and dairy products, balancing heat dissipation and clean protection; 4. Comprehensive cabling for chemical control, data center, and precision laboratory, with strong and weak electricity laid in the same circuit; 5. Swimming pool, hot spring, sprinkler workshop, underground high humidity pipe trench, outdoor comprehensive pipe gallery; 6. Tunnels and power distribution corridors in the factory area that are unattended for a long time and cannot be regularly maintained for corrosion prevention. Ⅴ. Key points of construction and installation specifications 1. Unified material for the entire system: The support arm, column, connecting bolt, and connecting plate must be matched with stainless steel of the same grade. It is strictly prohibited to mix carbon steel accessories to avoid electrochemical corrosion; 2. Grounding requirements: Each section of the bridge frame should be connected with stainless steel braided straps, and the entire line should be connected to the grounding main line. The overall grounding resistance should be ≤ 4 Ω; 3. Post cutting and polishing treatment: The metal section is polished smooth, and can be partially passivated in severely corrosive environments without the need for anti-corrosion paint; 4. When laying strong and weak electricity on the same tray, stainless steel separators must be installed to completely isolate them; Cover the entire process of dust, outdoor, pipe gallery, and vertical shaft with stainless steel cover plates; 5. Install expansion joints for long-distance outdoor laying to compensate for the thermal expansion and contraction deformation of stainless steel and prevent deformation and cracking of the bridge frame; Fire resistant sealing materials are used to block the spread of flames and smoke along the bridge through walls and floor openings; 6. For heavy-duty cable trays with a width of over 600mm, stainless steel support arms should be added to control deflection deformation under long-term loads; After the installation of the food and pharmaceutical clean room is completed, wipe and polish the entire area to remove any remaining metal debris from the installation.
